The Charming Contrast – Córdoba and Seville
Andalusia Through the Lens
For ten days, I immersed myself in the fascinating world of Andalusia and explored the two gems Córdoba and Seville with my camera. Each city has its own unique character and offers a wealth of motifs for photographers.
Córdoba: The Dreamy Beauty
The Mezquita-Catedral: An architectural masterpiece that impressed me with its unique blend of Islamic and Christian art.
The Judeo-Arabic Quarters: Narrow streets, white houses, and blooming courtyards – here I soaked up the soul of Córdoba.
The Roman Bridge: A historic structure that offers an impressive view of the city.
Seville: Passion and Joie de Vivre
Plaza de España: An architectural jewel with breathtaking tiles and canals.
The Alcázar: A Moorish fortress that enchants with its lush gardens and magnificent halls.
Seville Cathedral: One of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world with an impressive collection of works of art.
Tips for Photographers
The best time: The spring and autumn months offer pleasant weather and plenty of light for your shots.
Golden hour: Use the time shortly after sunrise or shortly before sunset for particularly atmospheric photos.
Tripod: A sturdy tripod is especially helpful for indoor shots in churches and palaces.
Conclusion
Andalusia is a paradise for photographers. The diverse cultures, the impressive architecture, and the vibrant atmosphere have inspired me and created unforgettable memories.
